Job description: This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of the analytics and tagging strategy across digital properties with a focus on enhancing reporting, analytics, and paid media optimization. The Analytics Implementation Specialist of Digital Technologies will work closely with IT, Analytics, Marketing, and third-party vendors to capture the data needed to drive business decisions.Job Responsibilities:

  • Compliant data governance of tag management solution
  • Strengthen relationships with vendors that offer measurement products and evaluate new solutions to augment existing capabilities
  • Manage the QA and debugging of analytics and tagging code
  • Operate as the subject matter expert on web analytics, data collection and digital tagging
  • Maintain and enhance existing tracking
  • Bring forward recommendations for more granular and clean data capture & reporting
  • Ensure data capture is consistent and accurate across reporting platforms
  • Design and document customized analytics tracking specifications for all digital channels, including web and paid media
  • Partner with web content and development teams to recommend and implement technical data collection solutions based on user actions
  • Partner with internal and external teams to test and deploy tracking solutions while monitoring and optimizing existing integrations

Required experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in tag management solutions, such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Tealium, Ensighten
  • 1+ year of experience with server-side / first-party implementation of data collection
  • Working knowledge of data collection privacy and GDPR standards and implementation, especially with GCM (Google Consent Mode)
  • Expertise in web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics and GA4
  • Familiarity and comfort in creating data collection standards,
  • Familiar with digital media channels, including Paid Search, Display and Social
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML and dataLayer objects
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Candidates must be highly analytical, self-motivated and demonstrate attention to detail

Beneficial Additional Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Target or other test & learn/ personalization platforms and its integration into tag management and data analytic applications
  • Experience with SQL or equivalent query building logic language and applications
  • Working knowledge of report building in data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI and Google’s Looker
  • Experience with BigQuery and data connection and filtering software such as Zapier, Workato, Tray.io, etc
  • Working knowledge of vendor administration of pixels in Meta Business, GA360 (G Ads/Floodlights), LinkedIn, etc.
