Today we are more than 1000 employees strong, and we continue to use our incredible talent and energy to bring that purpose to life.We’re seeking an AR/Office Billing Manager to join us.As an AR/Office Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of medical billing operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, and the ability to effectively manage a team.What you’ll Do:

  • Lead and supervise a team of hybrid remote medical billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
  • Manage the physical office space
  • Lead the management of AR by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of claims and denials
  • Stay abreast of healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines, ensuring compliance with billing and coding standards, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant requirements
  • Prepare reports on billing performance, revenue trends, and key metrics, and provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements and revenue optimization
  • Identify and implement any needed procedures to help maintain a streamlined, efficient organization
  • Contribute to organizational success through sharing of knowledge and successes with operations team peers

What you’ll bring to Zotec:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with progressive responsibility and leadership experience
  • Experience with EPIC and Athena IDX preferred
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
  • Experience managing remote employees
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions
  • Experience in managing Medicare, Medicaid, and Third-Party billing
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate appropriately
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Attentive to detail
  • Excellent written communications and organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change
  • Must be energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated with the entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
