  • Expert knowledge of video/photo editing software, as well as video streaming, including Photoshop and other Adobe software.
  • Social media expertise, across all platforms.
  • Proficient in PrestoSports Stats with the ability to stat baseball, basketball, and soccer games
  • Write press releases and game recaps with high proficiency
  • Maintain information on the Athletics webpage
  • Serve as primary media liaison for LSUS Athletics
  • Assist and oversee the press box and/or scoring table for athletic contests
  • If possible, serve as PA announcer at baseball, basketball, and soccer games
  • Must be willing to work closely with coaches to ensure that information on the website including statistics are accurate
  • Serve as the Champions of Character liaison
  • Assist coaches and FAR with nominations of student-athletes for state, regional, and national awards
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Have 3 years of collegiate sports information/design experience
  • Experience in social media
  • Experience in stat keeping particularly with PrestoSports Stats
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Strong computer and writing skills.
  • Ability to work significant evening, night, and weekend hours.
