Please see additional information about .This is a 2 year limited term position based on fundingKey Responsibilities:Communication Strategy: Develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with change management goals and objectives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders impacted by IT changes and initiatives, and develop targeted communication plans to engage and involve stakeholders throughout the change process.Content Development: Create high-quality written and visual content, including newsletters, email announcements, blog posts, presentations, and other materials, to communicate change initiatives, updates, and benefits to various audiences.Communication Channels: Utilize a variety of communication channels and platforms, such as websites, intranet portals, social media, email, and digital signage, to effectively deliver change-related information and foster engagement among stakeholders.Training Support: Collaborate with the training team to develop communication materials and resources to support training efforts, ensuring users are informed and prepared for changes to systems, processes, and tools.Feedback Mechanisms: Establish feedback mechanisms to gather input and insights from stakeholders regarding communication effectiveness, user needs, and areas for improvement, and incorporate feedback to enhance communication strategies.Change Campaigns: Plan and execute communication campaigns to promote awareness, build excitement, and drive adoption of IT changes and initiatives, utilizing creative and innovative approaches to engage the university community.Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze communication metrics, such as engagement rates, open rates, and feedback responses, and prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and inform future initiatives.Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communication, change management, or related field, preferably in the IT industry or higher education sector.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and tailored messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including email marketing software, content management systems, social media management tools, and multimedia editing software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in change management and understanding of change communication principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies and campaigns to support change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to measure the impact and success of communication efforts.
