In this role, you will collaborate with a senior developer to create responsive and engaging web applications using JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, Vue.js, the Laravel framework, and PHP. We are a family-owned business that provides architectural, industrial, and maintenance coating services for some of the most recognizable facilities in Texas, Arizona, Tennessee, and beyond. Our strong emphasis on high-quality service and client satisfaction has made us the select partner for general contractors, property management firms, and facility managers.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement intuitive web applications to enhance user interaction with our platform, leveraging Vue.js for dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Translate design wireframes into high-quality code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Vue.js.
- Support the development of front-end features with the Laravel framework, integrating Vue.js components where applicable.
- Maintain a basic understanding of PHP to ensure seamless integration with front-end elements developed using Vue.js.
- Collaborate closely with our IT team and other functional department leaders to identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness) and enhance the interactivity of the platform using Vue.js.
- Conduct ongoing testing of the website for usability, focusing on Vue.js components, and fix any bugs that arise.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, especially regarding Vue.js and its ecosystem, to keep our web presence innovative.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable skills in front-end development with a portfolio or examples of past work, including Vue.js projects.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and experience with Vue.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular).
- Strong willingness to learn the Laravel framework.
- Basic knowledge of PHP and understanding of how it interacts with front-end applications, particularly with Vue.js components.
- Familiarity with the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), with a keen understanding of how Vue.js fits into this process.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, especially in the context of Vue.js applications.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment, with a particular interest in advancing skills in Vue.js and associated technologies.
Nice-to-Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience with Vuex, Vue Router, and integrating Vue.js within Laravel applications.
