Plant Operators are needed for a leading water/ wastewater utility. The Plant Operators will be responsible to oversee water system inventory using the local SCADA system. This role involves monitoring and controlling pump operations to maintain optimal inventory levels and promptly responding to SCADA system alarms by dispatching them to on-call personnel.Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior plant operation experience or SCADA background are preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to work on rotating shifts and periodic weekends. This is a contract role slated to last 12+ months, and carries additional compensation for health and welfare.

- Monitor water system inventory using the local SCADA system
- Control pump operations to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Dispatch SCADA system alarms to on-call personnel
- Report failure logs and manual override requirements to the Superintendent during normal duty hours and the on-call staff member during off-duty hours
- Operate on shift schedules alongside operating staff, with 8-hour shifts on weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends
