Responsibilities will include design level capability definition and solutions using context diagrams, use cases, activity diagrams, state machines and sequence diagrams to develop systems requirements and allocation; technical oversight of the integrated system design (design, requirements, detailed design, integration, test, verification) during execution.***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start***Additional responsibilities will include:
-Establishes and oversees the execution of the SE process, to include how development and technical processes are executed, how the maturation of the product will be evaluated, and how overall development is measured throughout execution-Supports SE coaching and training and can support continuous process improvement for more efficient project execution-Supports the implementation of the SE process for a new or emerging technologies for future integration into the MBSE directorate-Supports the digital transformation of system design to MBSE via SysML based design modeling-Supports detailed technical integration activities between critical program functions-Assist with SE audits across the Lines of Business-Support SETR events as required (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FCA, PCA, etc)-Support standardization of systems engineering processes and tools-Update enterprise SE command media-Support plan for programs life cycle execution through the development, update, and revision of SE roadmaps-Support Proposal Development and Cost & Schedule ManagementBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering.Excellent written and oral communicationDemonstratable Strong Systems Engineering Skills with an emphasis in system design and requirementsDesired skillsKnowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Systems Engineering “V”Knowledge of Requirements DecompositionKnowledge SysML and system design modeling, including behavioral and logical modelingStrong analytical and complex problem-solving skillsFamiliarity or proficiency with the following or similar engineering tools: Cameo Systems Modeler, DOORS, MATLAB, Rhapsody, Model CenterAbility to work in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members.VirtualnoZip76108EEOLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Expected salary: $94500 – 178000 per year
