Job description: Overview:The Biden for President campaign is seeking a talented, experienced digital video expert to help lead the Vice President’s campaign video program. The VP Managing Video Producer will manage the VP video team and help shape the digital content strategy. The ideal candidate for this role has experience managing creatives and giving feedback, as well as experience producing and editing digital videos. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in an ever-changing environment. This position reports to the VP Digital Director.Responsibilities
- Help manage the VP’s video team and foster a positive team culture
- Help establish priorities and timelines for producing high-performing videos
- Give notes and constructive feedback on video cuts
- Help guide videos through the internal approval process
- Help manage vendors and freelancers
- Help manage video shoots and logistics of capturing video at campaign events
- Help guide video strategy and insure the video team is improving performance and achieving goals
Requirements
- Experience managing creatives
- Experience producing political content
- Experience producing high-performing videos for social media
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of how to optimize videos for each
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations
- The ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively with others
- Experience working with and filming principals is a bonus.
