Interested in being part of our team?Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Assembly MechanicYou will be supporting the manufacturing of Turbo Expander Cores safely and efficiently while meeting engineering, quality, delivery, and budget requirements. You will use pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic tools. You will need the ability to read schematics and interact with Engineering to troubleshoot assembly problems.The compensation for this position is based on skill. An Entry Level Mechanic makes $21.32 per hour and an Assembly Mechanic IV makes $30.70 per hour. • Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read, write, and do basic arithmetic
• Follow procedures, assembly work instructions, and job travelers
• A clean and organized work area.
• You will use a computer to create and send emails, use SAP to review job details and to manage your time & attendance.

What you will learn, if you do not already know:

• You will be cleaning parts to prepare for assembly
• You will be focused on the assembly and disassembly of turbo expander machinery
• You will conduct pressure testing of machine casings, piping, and components
• You will use precision measuring tools during assembly of machinery
• You may be driving a forklift to transport parts to different areas of the shop
• You will be using an overhead crane in the handling of heavy parts

How Success is measured:

• Completing assigned assignments in the time duration given.
• Utilizing a minimum of 40 hours of training on skid on learning and developing in our manufacturing processes.
• Supporting and working the hours needed to complete your assigned jobs.

Something to consider:

• Working Conditions: Available to work overtime as needed, up to 12-hour shifts Monday – Friday, Saturdays, and some Sundays.
• Essential Physical Tasks: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Over 25lbs will require the use of cranes/power tools; Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching; Standing for long periods of time; Climbing ladders; Handling and assembling of small parts. Ability to climb around, over, and under equipment to conduct work
• Equipment Used: Basic hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, punches, and measuring devices and hand power tools such as drills, grinders, impact wrenches, etc. Lifting equipment including overhead cranes, shackles, chains, and other rigging.
