- Our client is an enterprise telecommunications company providing an advanced 5G Network and outstanding wireless services to enterprise and personal consumers.
- This engagement will be supporting the client’s SyncUp Platform Team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the Azure Consumer IoT Platform that supports all the SyncUp Products such as Drive (Smart Car), Pet Tracker, and Kids Watch.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The developer should have demonstrable experience in developing Azure IoT projects and will play a significant role in the design and implementation of the technological solution working on the latest technology stack such as Azure PaaS, Azure IoT Suite, Angular, NodeJS, and .NET Core . The developer is expected to provide hands-on design and development expertise and technical abilities to deliver quality IoT solutions.Knowledge and Skills:
- Background in Project Management or experience leading/managing teams
- Experience focused on Azure IoT platform development with an Application Development background
- Experience using Azure PaaS and Azure IoT Suite services (e.g., IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Azure Functions).
- Strong technical knowledge of latest .NET Technologies such as .NET Core,
Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, is preferable. * Experience working with technologies such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Device SDK, Azure Device provisioning services, Azure Device twins, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure Stream analytics
- Strong experience in using SQL and NoSQL based data store & associated technologies
- Experience in architecting and building Azure IoT platforms/apps with exposure of containerization and serverless architecture.
- Experience working with firmware/hardware team to enable device connectivity and edge processing use cases
- Strong understanding of Cloud Native Application Development and Cloud Platform Capabilities
- Experience working in hybrid environments with offshore teams
- Experience designing and developing high performance web applications using Front-end technologies e.g., Angular
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles
- Experience in implementing Design Patterns and following Design Principles
Job Responsibilities:
- Take an active part in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies
- Implement software applications following established standard, design patterns, and software development methodologies
- Write high quality code and effectively debug the code
- Write automated unit test cases using one of the unit test framework and mocking library
- Take on tasks per their prioritization and implement in a timely fashion
- Act on suggestions provided during code reviews
- Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identify impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware, and network
- Keep up-to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/recommendations to project manager or the architect as required
- Keep others informed in a timely fashion about deviation or issues observed
