  • Serve as a technical authority in sampling operation and field analytical methodologies for all variations of Participatory Science investigations and activities supported by Community-Engaged Collaborative for Research and Excellence (CERCLE).
  • Collaborate with Agency partners to determine cross-program requirements, solve problems or initiate new programs.
  • Serve as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and project officer for grants and cooperative agreements.

  • 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as participating in programs or collaborative efforts to advance technologies (e.g., low-cost air sensors, water quality monitoring equipment) for public health and environmental interests; conducting studies or monitoring trends of technological resources and their impact on community efforts to enhance environmental quality;
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; the education must be directly related and provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position;
  • equivalent combination of education and experience

To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as analyzing or making recommendations on programs, policies, or collaborative efforts regarding advancing technologies (e.g., low-cost air sensors, water quality monitoring equipment) for public health and environmental interests; or evaluating technological resources and their impact on community efforts to enhance environmental quality.Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
