LifeNet Health has over 1200 employees and has a growing global presence.How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:The Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer’s primary purpose is to develop, maintain, and optimize data and analytics solutions for LifeNet Health, including data models, dashboards, and reports. This position is responsible for responding to IS Help Desk Tier 2 support requests, serving on special projects as designated by key internal stakeholders, and developing enhancements requested by the business for existing LifeNet Health business applications.What you’ll do:

  • Technical Support: Develops and supports technical solutions to complex issues. Provides guidance to team and works collaboratively with other groups within IS to implement solutions. Performs and documents tests on developed solutions. Documents approved solutions in accordance with Information Systems Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Solutions Management: Identifies, understands, and presents data and analytics solutions to internal business partners to meet business needs. Assists with technical/business evaluation and decision-making processes for solutions. Coordinates approval of solution documentation with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Customer Service/Incident Response: Collaborates with internal business partners to drive business outcomes. Responds to incidents and service requests using the service management system. Determines root cause of issues, proposes corrective and preventive actions and communicates appropriately to customers.

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) years of related work experience to include SQL, Data Modeling, and Data Visualization Tools (Power BI).

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of related work experience to include SQL, Data Modeling, and Data Visualization Tools (Power BI).
  • Data Engineering: DataFlows, Semantic Models, Microsoft Fabric.
  • ETL: Experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Implementing data validation and monitoring processes.

These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.
  • Relationship Management: Builds and sustains partnerships across organizational boundaries and functions as well as outside the organization to achieve common goals and outcomes.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Power BI, Tableau, BusinessObjects.
  • Database Skills: SQL skills, knowledge of and experience with relational database concepts.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $74,353.50 annually (entry- level qualifications) to $99,138.00 annually (experienced in this role). **Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and LifeNet Health reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice, unless otherwise required by law.
