Role is required to be on sight at Brooklyn Park 4 days a week, Monday thru Thursday, along with the rest of the team. Individual will be on site 5 days initially until trained and proficient. . Once the individual is trained and proficient there is flexibility to WFH on specific instances for work/life balance needs as they come up such as appointments.,

Role requires experience in Drafting and 3D modeling in CREO and also autoCAD/Draftsight. Knowledge of good drafting practices including GD&T is a must.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Plans, lays outs, draws, models and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data for medical devices, parts, assemblies and packaging.
Utilizes computer aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, specifically 3D CAD software CREO and most be familiar with AutoCAD/Draftsight as well as familiarity with PDM link.
Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices and use of GD&T.
Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience preferred.
