Job description: Job Description:The Role:Serve as the Brand Marketing lead responsible for Product (core and new launches) within Skincare category, Department Store (Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdales, among others), Pure Player (Revolve) and Free Standing Store Trade Marketing lead.Role Accountabilities:

  • Lead 360 consumer and brand activation strategies for Charlotte Tilbury Skincare. Planning and implementation for both newness and core products inclusive of but not limited to media, trade, creative, strategic brand partnerships, and sampling.
  • Partner with all cross-functional teams to market and promote product launches and 360 brand initiatives (Digital, VM, Trade, PR, CT.com, Sales & Education, Finance). Lead x-functional task forces that guide the successful development and launch of consumer and brand programs.
  • Works closely with retailer dotcom and internal commercial teams to identify and execute against key insights to drive e-commerce sales for content, promotions and ratings/reviews.
  • Be an advocate for the brand to global in driving content updates for all parts of business.
  • Lead and own market research and insight initiatives for North America (in conjunction with global partners) – leveraging data to craft compelling high impact marketing strategies.
  • Develop the brand media strategy around skincare (new/core). Continually optimize budget spend and performance.
  • Oversee analysis on the success of new launches and hero performance, as well as of the total portfolio including by segment, channel and SKU to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and lead relationships with strategic retail dept store partners to drive compelling marketing programs (email, social channels, .com).
  • Create and ideate “on the ground” and “In the air” eventing: both in store and virtual to drive sales and sell through of key initiatives in conjunction with sales/education teams.
  • Manage the A&P Budget around skincare (sampling, eventing, media, collateral, etc.).
  • Define KPIs, evaluate the business impact, effectiveness and ROI of consumer programs and develop concrete, timely recommendations in recaps / post-mortems on how to evolve and optimize future campaigns.
  • Develop Marketing point of view on retail forecast, accounting for market dynamics and internal trend.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning (and other cross functionals) on forecast generation for new product launches to offer guidelines based on competitor benchmarks.
  • Drive add/delete process with Sales planning team for entire category.
  • Make recommendations for Retail Pricing on all new products driven by category and competitor analysis and brand positioning.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis to drive recommendations on sku strategy, discontinuations, gaps in market, opportunities.
  • Lead market analyses based on NPD data to draw insights on trends, pricing and landscape dynamics.
  • Work closely with Global Product & Marketing teams to ensure proactive planning for 3-5 years out, analyzing white-space opportunities as well as responding to market trends.
  • Keep pulse on competitive benchmarks in the market, guiding the Global Marketing team to identify new product opportunities.

Leadership and Development

  • Manage and develop a team of 3: Manager, Assistant Manager and Coordinator.

KEY CONSTITUENTS

  • Internal x-functional teams – Global Marketing, PR, Influencer, VM, Commercial, Finance, Sales & Education, CT.com.
  • External media agencies, and other creative partners/agencies.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to the SVP, Marketing.Requirements:Key Selection Criteria:

  • 7-9 years of traditional brand marketing (beauty industry preferred).
  • Strong analytics/ability to glean insights through data.
  • Creative thinker who, using insights and data, can frame and solve problems in new ways and bring new marketing initiatives to the table.
  • Strategic thinker who can develop strategy frameworks & solutions that are highly actionable.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within an entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, great presenter, dynamic speaker, ability to influence across many layers of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership and can handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, excellence in execution, with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” and “get it done” mentality.
  • Track record in managing direct reports to full potential. Serve as a dynamic leader and develop talent.
  • Advanced skills (ease/speed) in Excel, Word and Power Point.
