We are here to drive a key growth initiative for Target and to lead the industry to a better way of operating.As Director, Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations you will…Play an integral role in coordinating, executing, and scaling all go-to-market activities across Roundel. This will require leveraging a detailed understanding of the Retail Media landscape to identify opportunities that advance our strategic positioning and deliver on our growth objectives. You will work in close partnership with a diverse stakeholder group across Roundel and broader Target to implement these strategies – ensuring robust cross-functional alignment at each step of the way. You will be a strategic thought leader, possess excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and have a good understanding of marketing, media products, and the digital industry.A successful candidate will be an integral member of the Roundel Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations team, reporting to the Sr Director of Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations.Job Duties:Manage and lead a team comprised of 3 or more Go-To-Market Team MembersBe a commercial strategist for Roundel’s rapidly growing media businessBuild a team culture that exemplifies the core Target values of connection, inclusivity, and driveLead core revenue operations processes and activities, including but not limited to- pricing and media deal strategy, resource modeling, channel management, sales activity measurement, and business/market intelligence gatheringDrive end-to-end process efficiencies through a partnership with senior leaders in Sales, Media Operations, and Performance & InsightsServe as the key business partner for our Roundel leadership in IndiaOversee the development of new strategies and partnerships that support our growth objectives, increase our value proposition to our customers, and deepen our strategic positioningEstablish relationships with and partner closely with senior leaders in Sales and Account Management, Performance and Insights, Product, and Operations and on strategy development and activationSupport Roundel leadership in developing and executing against our long-term strategic goalsWho You Are:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience3+ years of direct people management experience10+ years of experience in Sales Strategy & Operations, Digital Media Sales/Account Management, Merchandising, Management Consulting, or equivalent experience in an organizationComfortable navigating ambiguity, demonstrating a bias for action to drive business resultsStrong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to analyze and synthesize complex information into actionable insights and recommendationsProven project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiativesTrack record of continuous improvement – leveraging experiences and setbacks to drive professional growthExcellent written and oral communication skillsThis position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as “Flex for Your Day”) work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
