As an Entry-Level Fundraising Associate, you will receive hands-on training and support to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in fundraising and donor relations.Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, including donor appeals, online fundraisers, and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist in researching potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities to support our organization’s programs and initiatives.
- Prepare fundraising materials, such as solicitation letters, donor acknowledgment letters, and grant proposals, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in our database, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide administrative support for fundraising activities, including scheduling meetings, coordinating mailings, and tracking donations.
- Assist in donor communication and stewardship efforts, including thank-you calls, emails, and personalized outreach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and program staff, to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, sales or marketing
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- A passion for social impact and nonprofit work
