Fostering a culture of innovation, flexibility, and excellence, we create products, services, and experiences that are leading the way to a safer tomorrow.Position Summary: The Graphic Designer – Pre-Press Production will be responsible for the creation of logos and digital proofs for the custom imprinting of products. Work closely with imprinting production and sales departments to ensure all proofs are accurate and error-free. Create final artwork files and color separations for production and maintain documentation of all proofs and final artwork.Must be available to work ON-SITE Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Receive proof requests via email and gather information to create proofs
• Evaluate artwork provided by the customer and determine if artwork needs to be recreated
• Redraw logo artwork if needed
• Utilize imprinting templates and determine the correct imprint areas for each product
• Create mock images for proof showing what the final imprinted product will look like
• Work with Sales to receive final approvals and make additional revisions of proofs if necessary
• Create final artwork with color separations for pad printing or screen-printing production
• Utilize correct file naming conventions and folder organization
• Maintain and update a job-tracking spreadsheet
• Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Screen-Printing process
• Graphics experience is a must.
• Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) applications
• Strong organizational skills, excellent spelling, and ability to follow directions
• Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines while effectively managing time
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof own work
• Must be MAC literate and have strong Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) emphasis.
• Must have demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using a computer application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.
• Skilled with working with pictures in graphics programs or other applications, including creating simple graphics, manipulating the appearance, and inserting graphics into other programs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt as job and/or organization change

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Graphic design, Marketing, or Communications.
