Facilitates patient and clerical activities, including order entry, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations. Ensures accurate data collection and data entry to facilitate customer satisfaction and timely and accurate reimbursement for services.
QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED is preferredExperienceWorking knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous course in medical terminology is desirableCertifications, Licenses and RegistrationsBasic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.Physical Requirements:
