Job description: Job Description:To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining a Continuous Integration Solution
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
  • Support projects autonomously from start to finish
  • Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
  • Full life-cycle project management
  • Establish and lead project teams
  • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
  • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
  • Risk, Issue and Change management
  • Ensure successful project implementation
  • Scope of responsibility
  • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
  • Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
  • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
  • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
  • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
  • Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in API/Service testing (SOAP/REST)
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, SAFE AGILE Methodology
  • Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP
  • Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup & Defect Management
  • Significant experience with Soap Protocols, Rest APIs, RAML/OpenAPI spec, CICD pipelines, HTTP request, JSON format, and Mulesoft
  • Significant experience with the following tools: Azure DevOps (ADO, ADO ATP), Postman, Newman, SOAPUI, Database Query tools
  • Familiarity with engineering discipline
  • Effective database and presentation software skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PMLocation: (This role will follow our hybrid work schedule candidate will need to be located within a commutable distance to one of the below locations)
