Job description: Job DescriptionThe purpose of this position is providing a center of excellence for proposal development and production. We are looking for a team member to help win new business by applying their strong leadership, communications, and marketing skills.
The position supports the proposal delivery development and production, develops proposal compliance matrices, edits outlines, sections, resumes, and mockups. The position will support the development of proposal schedules and coordinate resource plans to ensure a timely response. The position will also lead development of internal and external marketing collateral and meetings to support the business lines. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional to work with an established marketing and proposal team while providing their own unique perspective to help us grow.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the development process of proposals, qualifications, client presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral
  • Assist to determine the scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set a production schedule, coordinate level of services and resources, and track any special
  • Facilitate highly creative graphic design for production of sales and marketing materials
  • Conceptualize, develop, and coordinate sales and marketing collateral including brochures, advertisements, datasheets, tradeshow booth materials, and websites
  • Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that fully reflect the client requirements and needs
  • Participate in proposal strategy sessions, kickoff meetings, reviews, and planning meetings
  • Organize the process for collecting author input and ensure that all standards are met
  • Provide editorial and coordination services to produce responsive, clear, consistent, and readable documents
  • Coordinate marketing activities among corporate headquarters, business lines, Marketing Services offices, and other functional groups
  • Ensure adherence to the corporate brand and quality standards
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

Basic Job Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and no previous years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years* if non-degreed
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job including Microsoft Word/PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent or work experience in English, marketing, communications, design, or business preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of software packages including desktop publishing packages, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft PowerPoint in a Windows environment, online integrated proposal management systems and capability to integrate into final product
  • Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lead are a must
  • Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Keen sense of attention to detail
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule; willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment
  • Able to manage others and work with minimal supervision
  • Capable of applying marketing principles to Fluor’s business activities
