Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated, detailed oriented writer/producer to join our communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality written and video content, from concept to completion, including pitching story briefs, writing interview questions, conducting exec interviews, and turning that into high-performing multimedia content across multiple channels. You’ll also own the digital asset management program. The role is highly collaborative; working with various internal teams and external agencies.This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual with knowledge of written & video content production and program management to contribute to our organization’s communication strategy.Responsibilities:Content Production:

  • Create high-quality written and video content, often with tight timelines and a degree of uncertainty, in multiple formats and for multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and other emerging platforms.
  • Work with multiple team members across the company to identify compelling stories (particularly around our products) aligned to company priorities, create and work to briefs, conduct interviews and other research, manage approvals, publish and measure impact.
  • Transform raw materials (pre-existing interviews, keynotes, etc) into strategic multi-platform content at speed and scale.
  • Help drive our multimedia content program by working with multiple team members to edit recorded video assets into compelling video news, reporting and storytelling content.
  • Support stakeholder content production, including integrating and suggesting appropriate visual elements into stories.
  • Define and complete workback plans to meet timelines.
  • Liaise with team members to create, acquire, and source production materials.
  • Potential to serve as on-camera talent, engage in videography and photography.

Production Management:

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end content projects, from ideation through post-launch measurement, including scheduling, stakeholder approvals and review, multimedia assets, and promotion.
  • Develop and oversee program management workflows, including timelines and workback plans with internal team members and external agencies.
  • Digital Asset Management: Source, create and organize multimedia assets for video projects to help build a scalable multimedia content machine.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in writing, content creation, journalism field.
  • Broadcast and video production familiarity preferred.
  • Familiarity in content creation tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills while also balancing time and resources.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Experience making editorial judgments.
  • Knowledge of current trends in video production and social media.
  • Portfolio recommended.
  • BONUS: Familiarity with Salesforce products or the tech industry.
