Job description: About Us:The Ohio Digital Academy (ODA) is seeking a skilled identity management analyst to join our July cohort! Selected analysts will join the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), InnovateOhio Platform Team and will be learning relevant skills and technologies including: Identity and Access Management, SaaS Architecture, Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, KPI monitoring, management and reporting, investigating, and fraud reporting.As an emerging high-tech hub, Ohio is cultivating an innovation environment and skilled workforce primed to meet the advanced technology and cybersecurity needs of the state’s public and private sector employers.The Ohio Digital Academy seeks to create a technology workforce pipeline by training and employing early entrants to the industry and setting them on a path to careers for in-demand fields such as cybersecurity, coding, software engineering, user experience design, cloud engineering/architecture, and data analytics.Selected analysts earn $25 an hour beginning the first day of employment and attend an intensive four-week training program that focuses on civil service training, leadership, technical training & exercises, and professional development within 30 days of hire.In exchange for a three-year service commitment to the State of Ohio, analysts receive:

  • Tuition or loan reimbursement of $20,000 or $40,000 (expenses must be from within one year of joining ODA or while in the program)

The Ohio Digital Academy is a division housed in the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) created and led by CyberOhio in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT).What You’ll Do:Under direct guidance and supervision, works toward acquiring the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform entry-level duties with the InnovateOhio Platform team:Security Monitoring and Reporting· Understands that architecture and infrastructure of IOP’s Identity and Access Managements tools in order to assist in operations and security functions.· Assists operations in maintaining KPI monitoring tools around identity functions (i.e. account creation, application access, identity proofing) and network related threats (i.e DDOS)· Creates reports which elaborate current trends in identity and access management and networking.· Actively reviews KPI data across the platform and reports anomalies and/or threats to IOP management.· Provides guidance to customers about applicability of information systems to meet business needs.· Works with agency business partners regarding Identity Proofing integrations and inquiries/reports.· Analysis Identity and Access management data to identity threats and fraud within the State’s identity and application platform.IOP Security Incident Response Team· Assists in investigation of cybersecurity events related to information technology (IT) systems, networks, and digital evidence· Assists to identify, analyze, and mitigate threats to internal information technology (IT) systems, and/or networks· Assists in the response to crises or urgent situations within the pertinent domain to mitigate immediate and potential threats.· Assists operations on root cause analysis reports regarding cyber events and incidents.Project Oversight and Participation· Works on various Identity and Security projects within IOP to understand the purpose and ensure delivery meets requirements of the sponsor.· Conducts system integration testing and user acceptance testing within related IOP projects.· Participates in hypercare within IOP identity and security projects; coordinates with agencies regarding inquiries and escalations within projects after deployment.What’s in it for you:At the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans.
