  • Perform as an Operations Research Analyst in a Program/Project office participating in planning/preparation of life cycle cost estimates and studies.
  • Utilize standard methods and techniques to perform such duties as gathering, researching, and evaluating cost analysis data.
  • Participates in cost analysis studies that require the identification and correlation of operations, and cost factors in a variety of operational situations associated with systems development, production, and deployment.

Transcripts must show the”degree awarded/conferred” date to qualify.In addition to the basic education requirements for the disciplines identified above, applicant must also have at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-01 (GS-4 or equivalent) level in the Federal Service.Specialized Experience: In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-01 (GS-4 equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: 1) Conducting economic analysis functions inclusive of cost modeling, development of cost estimating methodologies and their applications, and estimating the cost of major systems/programs, and 2) Developing cost estimates and mathematical modeling for studies to provide management with alternative solutions to problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (NH-01 or GS-4 equivalent).This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
