ICTAP/CTAP eligibles.DutiesAs a Program Support Specialist your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepares Acquisition Requests (ARs) for the acquisition of necessary supplies, equipment, and construction via charge cards and/or convenience checks to meet needs of assigned refuges, and ensures that purchases are in accordance with Federal procurement regulations and within delegated authority.
  • Initiates and tracks a variety of personnel actions (recruitments, reassignments, promotions, and awards) in the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS). Processes supporting documents for employee awards and personnel actions to be sent to Human Resources (HR)
  • Utilizes qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to conduct reviews of current administrative operations, analyze workload, workflow, manpower distribution, and productivity data for presentation as well as identifying issues in these areas. Recommends solutions to problems in organizational structure, staffing, administrative procedures, work processes, and workload distribution. Ensures that corrective actions are taken to implement solutions. Independently operates to increase office efficiency.
  • Prepares procurement-related actions by utilizing the Federal Business Management System (FBMS) acquisition system, including preparation and submission of Purchase Requests (PRs) and/or modifications for the assigned business team in FBMS, to include required documentation. Ensures vendors are active in System for Award Management (SAM). Ensures that all PRs initiated by team refuges are handled accurately and expeditiously. Serves as primary liaison with Contracting and General Services (CGS).

QualificationsOnly experience and education obtained by 06/06/2024 will be considered.In order to qualify for this position you must possess the Minimum Qualification.Minimum Qualification [GS-09] * One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to grade GS-07 in the Federal service. Experience may include: Provides administrative guidance and completes assignments in procurement, property management, policy adherence, travel, training, time and attendance, fleet, and records management; manages space assignments and equipment for the check-in and exit clearance process for assigned employees; provides information to accurately execute the budget and assist with tracking for presentation and providing other financial reports; and utilizes analytical techniques to conduct review of current administrative operations, analyze workload, workflow, and productivity data. OR

  • Master’s or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related;. OR
  • A combination of education and experience as described in 1 and 2 above which together equals 100% of the requirement
