Job description: Description:We are looking for 2 optimistic, results-oriented, and adaptable web application developers with the desire to help our clients and one another succeed. This developer will work on projects focused on modernization of complex multi-agency mainframe systems into a user friendly and state of the art web-based systems. The web application developer will work closely with all members of the technical team to provide to make these new systems a reality. We are looking for team players that promote sound coding practices, code reviews, and documentation to deliver cost effective quality products.
Project duties include front-end and back-end web development, unit testing, implementation support and post production support. Strong hands-on technical skills and experience with the following is mandatory: ASP.NET Core written in C#, Web API, Angular, bootstrap, TFS, DB2, SQL Server, and other state of the art tools and libraries. Experience working in an agile environment, estimating story points, and taking part in scrum ceremonies is required.
The development team is responsible for technical quality and the stability of the application, including diagnosing issues quickly and responsibly after the application post production release.Key Success Factors:
Demonstrates the ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, and providing technical talks.
Ability to work through challenges in a productive way.
