Property Managers oversee the properties under Natural Retreats’ management and ensure the homes are properly cleaned, staged, and maintained. Core duties include executing the overall organization and management of the properties, coordinating housekeeping, maintenance, and other vendors, ensuring all inspections are performed, and general administrative tasks related to the job. The Property Manager is the primary homeowner contact and is responsible for continuous communication and follow through to ensure guest and owner satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee guest services. Execute and fulfill guest requests, answer questions and address issues as needed
  • Prepare for guest arrivals with advance communications to the guest, and thorough home preparation
  • Coordinate and provide a home orientation to guests
  • Ensure all home systems are in operating order
  • Ensure property staged to brand standards
  • Conduct investigations and complete reports in the event of guest accident or injury
  • Meet and greet guests before departure and follow proper procedure to secure and inspect homes
  • Remove leftover trash from the property
  • Report any damages, missing items, etc. including pictures and summary to General Manager via email
  • Maintain updated reports. Ensure all applicable information is documented and records are filed appropriately
  • Oversee all independent Inspector and Housekeeping contractors
  • Assist in all aspects of the housekeeping vendor relationship – including providing assistance/support to ensure homes are up to brand standards and ready for guest arrival
  • Oversee vendors such as lawn service, pool care, etc.
  • Assist with inventory control of guest linens. Report this information to the General Manager
  • Keep the General Manager informed and updated immediately of any guest and/or home issues to guarantee proper steps are taken to ensure guest and owner satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with current homeowners through meaningful interactions and frequent, informed communications
  • Work directly with homeowners to ensure their homes are furnished and replenished as necessary
  • Assign appropriate charges to owners as required by applicable deadlines
  • Gain full knowledge of and maintain all operational systems and services in rental properties to include gas, water, sewage supply. etc.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting all Natural Retreats destinations and services to guests and colleagues alike
  • Assist with sales as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality, property management, and/or other related fields
  • Valid Driver License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to positively represent Natural Retreats when interfacing with guests, owners and industry peers.
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills
  • Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills to meet deadlines and performance expectations in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to vary work hours as needed – especially during peak season
  • Key attention to detail

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Property Manager should be flexible with their hours and expect evening and on call hours. They should be able to respond to the property within 15-20 minutes if an issue arises while a guest is in residence. Weekend and holidays will generally be busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days. We encourage all of our Team Members to take two (2) days off per week where possible, knowing that guests can arrive at unpredictable times.
