  • You’re the friendly face that enhances our guests’ experience by bringing your own flavor to the table
  • Making sure guests are having a fabulous time, from the moment they arrive until it’s time to say goodbye.
  • Creating a warm, friendly, and laidback atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.
  • Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
  • Overseeing the function of all food and beverage in the hotel to ensure excellent customer service and maximize revenue and profits to support overall hotel operations.
  • Providing professional, friendly and engaging service that turns first-time visitors into regulars
  • Ensuring service standards are followed while actively supporting the entire restaurant team.
  • Handling any guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Balancing a combination of operational, administrative and team responsibilities throughout each shift-Maximizing revenue by communicating regularly with the Corporate F&B team to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions.
  • Overseesing the execution of on-site events for private clients as well as public-facing special programming.
  • Communicating effectively with all departments to ensure that customer service needs and expectations are fulfilled.
  • Assisting with training, counseling, and scheduling all food & beverage team members.
  • Working directly with staff to ensure food and beverage quality, steps of service, and cleanliness are strictly adhered to.
  • Executing both opening and closing duties and maintaining an efficient, effective, and prioritized work schedule.
  • Maintaining inventory and its protocols and systems.
  • Refining staff processes and procedures to delight guests and create a team-focused, productive work environment for all
  • Assisting with the management of the departmental budget.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving and profit-enhancing measures.
  • Working with the Corporate Director of Restaurants to implement menu changes and makes recommendations on menu items based on guest feedback.
  • Interviewing, selecting, training, counseling, managing, and scheduling of all Restaurant team members, both back of house, and front of house staff.
  • Working directly with staff to assure food & beverage quality, good service, and cleanliness are strictly adhered to.
  • Sending Weekly Email Reports to management and attend weekly management meetings.
  • Sending Weekly Email blasts to FOH staff and Chefs outlining any news or memos.
  • Hosting front of house meetings every two months for AM + PM staff (Coordinate with the Corporate Director of Restaurants on agenda).
  • Reviewing, responding to, and distributing Restaurant Emails daily.
  • Managing online reservations system and communicate Reservations (phone & email).
  • Assisting with ordering all products necessary for successful service which can run the gambit from coffee and cocktail garnishes, to paper, ink, and paper clips.
  • Managing complimentary meals, service recovery comps, and discounting
  • Managing service staff tip log, ADP Time clock, and POS.
  • Assisting with properly representing the bar by providing photos and videos during service for use on social media accounts.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Familiarity with MS Office, Google Apps and other organizational computer tools.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal preferred.
  • Provide legible communication and directions.
  • Compute basic arithmetic.
  • Perform job junctions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Prioritize, organize, and follow up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Current Serv Safe Food Handler Certificate Required.
  • 3-5 years senior management experience in overall Food & Beverage operation, including banquets experience.
  • Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
