- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.

Nashville, TN (Onsite) Full-TimeJob DetailsCumulus Nashville seeks a detail oriented and energetic individual to serve as Sales Support Specialist-National and Local Sales. The primary role of this position is to help coordinate all aspects of the national sales efforts – order entry, traffic coordination, promotional fulfillment, communication with National Sales Team across the country, as well as outside communication with agency/advertiser and national rep firm. In addition to the primary role of SSS, there are duties required to assist the local sales department. Those duties are similar in scope to the items listed for SSA but also include working closely with local management on special projects.This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently, ability to problem solve, provide solutions and work in a fast-paced atmosphere. A high-level of accuracy, and keen attention to detail is needed. Other duties include editing and formatting sales proposals, ensuring sales proposals are compliant with current marketing standards, and creating client recaps. Other duties include creating sales reports, coordinating on-air promos, and helping manage sales and marketing materials, assisting and training sales interns.CUMULUS | Nashville currently features 5 stations in Middle Tennessee. Our stations include: 92Q (WQQK) Urban Hits, 103.3 Country (WKDF) Today’s Hottest Country, 104.5 The Zone (WGFX) Live and Local Sports, 95.5 Nash Icon Country’s Superstar Station, and SuperTalk 99.7 (WWTN) Live and Local NewsTalk. The cluster of 5 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis.Responsibilities
- Assist National Sales Team with order entry
- Assist Local and National Sales Team with reports, sales materials and promotional fulfillment
- Work closely and communicate with the National Sales Team, Rep Firm, and Local Sales Managers
- Work with advertisers and agencies as needed
- Coordinate with the traffic and production departments to ensure National orders run properly
- Request and input on-air audio National copy in a timely manner
- Enter National POs for production to produce on-air spots
- Identify and solve National billing issues / order revisions
- Pull airchecks and on-air spot logs for national and local clients as needed
- Request talent endorsements and promotions for Local and National Sales Teams
- Development and creation of sales proposal editing and formatting for Local and National Sales Teams
- Collaborate with local departments to ensure successful execution of national and local sales promotional campaigns
- Design and fulfill sales promotion recaps in coordination with the promotion department
- Proof read orders that are entered by Corporate for Nashville
- Organize and coordinate client meetings with talent for National accounts
- Assist local management with Sales Intern training and provide ongoing support
- Manage special projects when requested
