Our Technology team is expanding & we are seeking a growth-minded individual to join as a Salesforce Developer. We will consider candidates within certain states in the United States.The Salesforce Developer’s role is to automate business processes to improve efficiencies, improve client experience, and fuel revenue growth through the use of technology. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Salesforce development and will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business users and analysts to understand business requirements related to software, integrations, and data analytic needs.
  • Provide support for system changes and enhancements to sales management systems including Salesforce and other enterprise technologies.
  • Assist with the preparation and installation of solutions by analyzing business needs, determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Develop and support software solutions to support the business strategy.
  • Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing solutions to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes, and implementing changes.
  • Work with internal resources and 3rd party vendors in the implementation of software solutions.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into high-quality computer programs.
  • Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using design diagrams, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter and symbolic logic.
  • Conduct various testing cycles and trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired results.
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
  • Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.

  • Play a key role as a Salesforce technical expert and administrator.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Computer Science/Information Systems/MIS or related field and/or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 1 – 5 years’ development experience desired.
  • Experience with the following technologies:
  • Salesforce
  • SQL – Queries, Stored Procedures, ETL, Reporting and Analysis
  • Experience on projects doing requirements gathering, and working directly with business users is preferred.
  • Strong IT experience doing high-level designs, following structured and disciplined design methodologies.
  • Those achieving success in this position usually have the following skills: Ability to maintain positive and professional attitude under pressure; ability to communicate well with internal customers; strong organizational skills; flexible, ability to multi-task.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Experience with Salesforce ecosystem, administration, and development.
  • Knowledge of various software languages. Specifically VB, C# and other Microsoft based application languages.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft.Net and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Microsoft – PowerBI
  • Microsoft – Power Automate
  • Microsoft – Power Apps
  • Microsoft – Teams / SharePoint
  • Microsoft – Azure Cloud
  • Identity Management – SAML
  • Ability to work with end users to translate high-level requirements into a solution approach including both high level and detailed estimates.
  • Ability to quickly understand both business and technical concepts.
  • Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business Analysis, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Performance Tuning, User Interface Design, Web Programming Skills, Understanding of Browser Capabilities.
  • .NET, SQL, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, IIS, HTML.
  • Performance Monitoring techniques, load testing techniques.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and Insurance Industry software, Applied Systems, EPIC.
