In this role, you’ll help dream up fun food features, report on food trends, help edit bookazines and cookbooks, and work with our test kitchen, art department, and freelance food and prop stylists to coordinate photo shoots.Please note: For consideration, resumes must be submitted in PDF format with a cover letter, salary requirements, and a link to a portfolio or samples of work.Responsibilities:
- • Generate, produce and edit food features
- • Report on food trends
- • Oversee food on photo shoots
- • Build and maintain relationships with cookbook publishers and industry professionals
- • Write headlines, deks and intro copy
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or related field
- • 5-7 years of consumer editorial experience in food / lifestyle genre
- • Culinary background and/or degree preferred
The base salary for this role is between $74,000 and $75,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
