The developer is responsible for leading development efforts, driving adoption and appropriate use of technology and consulting on internal and external development efforts to ensure code quality and sound architecture. This is a leadership position that assumes the responsibility for project success and the upward development of team members. They are the development team’s point of contact that must interface with business partners of varying roles ranging from technical staff to executive leadership. Provides hands-on technical leadership for solution development and deploymentResponsibilities:

  • Design, develop and test internal Parallon web applications
  • Manage the design and coding of software from concept to finished product, in order to meet the needs of Parallon operations
  • System analysis, design, development & support of MS SQL Server in Production, QA and Development
  • Develop high quality, well-factored code
  • Write integration and UI automation tests
  • Creates and maintains application documentation in Confluence
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Product Analysts and operations to help gather requirements and understand business need(s)
  • Utilize version control tools, such as, GitHub
  • Leads meetings with purpose, ensures documentation of outcomes, action items and next steps• Advise and mentor team members in specialized technical areas
  • Develop new service lines, solutions, and offerings to benefit our clients
  • Work with the leadership team to carry out the vision, mission, and goals of Parallon
  • Follows and adheres to the CSO Thematic Goal: Own IT, Drive IT, Be IT
  • Manage application support and relationships
  • Provide 3rd level system support for application(s)
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with internal team(s) and operations
  • Engage with external teams to identify/resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot and respond to system issues, when necessary
  • Follow Parallon Change Management policy and procedures; creates/executes change control ticket(s) for all changes scheduled for production
  • Participates in on-call rotation
  • Manage multiple priorities and multi-task
  • Assists with other duties, as assigned
  • Continuously review, propose, and execute opportunities to optimize the processes that affect the included solutions
  • Ensure systems are developed in a robust way; reliable and maintainable from the start, applying techniques such as unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing and system monitoring
  • Follows technical and development standards when developing database and web components
  • Actively builds technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities

Position Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as full stack .NET Developer
  • 2+ years of experience with React
  • Strong experience with C#.Net Development
  • Strong experience with React, .Net Core
  • Foundational, logical and creative level experience with many technologies, including: .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Rest, WebAPI, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, LINQ
  • Cloud-based platforms, preferred (Azure, Google)
  • SQL, CSS, Bootstrap or Neutron
  • GitHub
  • Jira/Confluence
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Design Patterns
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Experience with enterprise software architecture for different types of projects
  • Experience documenting and diagramming architectural components.
  • Experience with defining and documenting coding standards.
  • Experience with Agile and Software Development Life Cycle, various development methodologies, and able to independently participate in each phase
  • Excellent customer service. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and/or exceeding expectations.
  • Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and application(s) quickly and manage multiple assignment simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, understand and synthesize complex problems, assess technical risks, and recommend sound solutions in a timely manner
