A senior product manager is responsible for managing and executing full product lifecycle processes including ideation, strategy, development, management, marketing, communication, commercialization, profitability, sales support strategies and ongoing monitoring and risk management.Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives business and financial results through the selection, design, development and promotion of new and existing products or solutions utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience. Oversees and maintains existing Commercial payment products; develops and implements new or updated products working in tandem with internal and external partners.
  • Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to customers through all applicable channels. Prioritizes and makes decisions regarding product recommendations. Assists in development of business case, business plan and roll-out of specific products or solutions.
  • Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and market trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommends new products or enhancements to existing products and develops and designs innovative features. Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of assigned products, and recognizes, anticipates and resolves operational and process problems that arise.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners. Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals. Develops product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
  • Drives business, financial and customer experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results.
  • Provides product training for sales and product staff, operational partners, and appropriate customer support partners. May be liaison across the footprint for product knowledge and implementation of new banking relationships. Participates in promotional conferences, tradeshows, expos and other related forums.
  • Serves as subject-matter-expert resource by providing training, orientation, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Must have direct experience in Treasury Management Sales, Treasury Management Operations, Treasury Management Operations or other similar line of business.Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Excellent project management skills
  • In-depth and broad knowledge of Treasury Management applications and products
  • Leadership skills, and the ability to influence individuals
  • Good competency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills, and the ability to review data with upmost detail.

  • Product Management experience
  • ACH payments experience
  • Fraud Services experience (positive pay related solutions)
  • Integrated Payments experience
  • Wire/Check Payments experience
  • Other payments experience such as but not limited to Real Time Payments, Faster Payments, Card payments
  • Understanding and or experience with standard industry payment origination file formats such as EDI, ISO20022, flat file, Nacha Fedwire, etc.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end life cycle of payment processing within a bank’s environment.
  • Incorporating voice of the client into product enhancements and design
  • Basic concepts of go to market (GTM) delivery of product enhancements and new solution deliveries
  • Some experience with client payment origination channels (online banking, files, APIs, ERP integrations)
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Certification
