Job description: Description:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.Accurately identify and label specimens.Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.Resolve and document any problem specimens.Skills:Laboratory, Specimen processing, Data entry, Accessioning, specimen accessioning, Sample, serum, plasma, blood samples, urine samples, biological samples, diagnostic testingTop Skills Details:Laboratory, Specimen processing, Data entry, AccessioningAdditional Skills & Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.Experience within a Diagnostic Lab Setting (CAP/CLIA certified lab experience is excellent, but not required).Ability to accurately identify different specimens and thus how to properly handle/process them (serum vs. plasma, what samples need to remain chilled, etc.)Strong data entry and organizational skills.High level of attention to detail.Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.Ability to work independently or in a team environment.Positive, hardworking, takes initiative, and works well with others.Proven reliability and positive attendance.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
