The DaRT Strategic and Financial Analytics Data Help Desk (DHD) team provides technology solutions and data support for Schwab employees. The DHD team is the first point of contact for internal customers with data questions, issues, or requests sourced from our analytic Cloud Data Warehouse. The DHD team’s goal is to deliver an exceptional customer experience to maximize Schwab’s ability to leverage data as an asset for competitive advantage. This role is to act as Sr. Specialist – Data Engineering, supporting and enhancing the help desk engagement model, processes and tools.In this strategic role, the ideal candidate will enhance support process, procedures and performance metrics while learning about our cloud data warehouse ecosystem, and provide ongoing production operations support and supporting medium to large cross functional projects.You will have the opportunity to delight Schwab’s internal customers by empowering them with self-service data exploration tools and elevate Schwab’s data IQ level by connecting with end users, providing education opportunities about DaRT SFAD data assets and delivering customer support services related to their data needs.What you haveRequired:

  • 18 months of Schwab technology domain experience gained as a current contractor is a firm must have
  • Working knowledge of Data platforms such as Google Big Query, Informatica, Tableau, Business Objects and Control-M
  • Strong skills in SQL
  • Troubleshoot data issues, collaborating with Production Support and Development teams
  • Minimum 3 years technical development or support experience
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • 2-5 years of progressive IT support experience.
  • Background in IT ticketing systems, like Remedy, JIRA

Preferred:

  • Ability to provide remote technical support over chat and phone
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Experience with collaboration tools like SharePoint and Confluence
  • Strong trouble shooting & problem solving skills

Expected salary: $73100 – 137000 per year

Location: Colorado
