Job description: Job Title – Talent Acquisition Specialist – Exempt – 13604Number of Positions – 2
Job Location – Billerica, Massachusetts 01821. Hybrid environment – need to be in office 3 days a week, occasionnaly 5. Will start out onsite 5 days/week during training
Job Start Date – 4/22/24
Job End Date – 10/18/24
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
Years’ Experience Required: 2-6 years of full life cycle. Ok with agency experience but need a combination of full lifecycle Engineering/Light Industrial/Manufacturing recruiting. Experience with Taleo would be nice.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partners with management to develop job specifications/requirements, competencies, make salary recommendations and negotiate starting salary with candidates.
  • Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
  • Sources candidates, manages workforce demands and develops networks to ensure constant flow of qualified candidates using various tools such as social media, career fairs, agencies and recruiting contractors.
  • Phone screens and conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees.
  • Manages applicant tracking system and creates reports and metrics analysis.
  • May prepare applicant assessments, provide applicants with information on the company, oversees background checks and drug testing, check references and ensure successful hiring and onboarding process.

Top 3 things the manager is looking for: * Experience in high volume direct labor (manufacturing, light industrial) recruiting

  • Ability to work in a chaotic under construction environment – start up environment
  • Ability to manage high volume of phone screens and coordinating efficiently to move fast to interviews

Top 3 tasks in scope for this role: * Sourcing and screening candidates

  • Following processes – documentation/follow up etc
  • Making offers and closing candidates quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent computer software skills, can pick up ATS quickly

Nice to Have:

  • In-House or Staffing background experience supporting high volume manufacturing hiring is strongly desired
  • Experience with the Taleo Applicant Tracking System
  • Knowledge of employment-related regulations such as EEO, AAP and OFCCP
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sourcing skills, experienced with Indeed resume sourcing tool.
  • Proven learning agility and flexibility experiences
  • Experience with PCs and MS Office
  • Experience leveraging the latest digital technology (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor)
  • HR/TA Certifications
