  • Provides instructional support to students during class and/or lab time
  • Notifies students of additional services on campus; such as tutoring and other resources
  • Assists faculty with material coordination and/or dispersion
  • May assist with data entry
  • May assist with set up of classroom materials and exhibits
  • May assist students with computer usage or software
  • Other duties as assigned

Program Duties:

  • Assists students with physical activities in agriculture classes.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Classroom setting; subject to moderate noise; frequent interruptions; frequent social interactions. May lift up to 25 pounds.QUALIFICATIONSMust meet Human Resources guidelines for qualified hiring; including by not limited to a Live Scan background check and completion of TB test.Must have sufficient, appropriate subject matter expertise.Education:
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required, AA preferredKNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Specific curriculum and any equipment or tools, as appropriate to the classroom setting;
  • Basic teaching and learning principles, study skills, and customer service skills;
  • Appropriate language skills including usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary;
  • Basic arithmetic;
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
