Job description: Do you possess SEO Content experience and have a desire to impact the world for Jesus?The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for a SEO Content Specialist!Location: Richmond, VA Headquarters (hybrid after training period)
Rate: Commensurate with experience + great benefitsThe SEO Content Specialist will utilize industry best practices to recommend, develop and implement SEO strategies across IMB digital properties (web, mobile, and social) to organically increase search engine rankings and brand authority, user engagement, and completion of call-to-actions.Responsibilities:

Conduct SEO activities to include keyword research and analysis, link building, on and off page optimization, search trend monitoring, content development and management.
Work with the editorial, design, social media, email marketing, web, and mobile development teams to recommend and implement SEO content strategies.
Implement search engine optimization strategies to include keyword usage, content creation, web page layout and design, call-to-actions, structured data, and other code enhancements.
Perform competitor and comparative SEO analysis. Research and report on industry benchmarks, trends, and changes over time.
Perform SEO audits of IMB digital properties, track user activity data, measure and report on results and insights.
Stay up to date on SEO best practices, tools, trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computing or related degree preferred
At least three years hands-on of SEO experience
Experience with analyzing competitor strategies, implementing effective SEO tactics, search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into actionable strategies.
Proficiency in the following technologies to include: Microsoft Office suite, CMS, Google Analytics GTMetrix, Google Trends, Google Tag Manager industry recognized SEO tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.
Ability to work on multiple initiatives and work effectively on time-sensitive projects.
Effective written and verbal communication
Previous experience working in a digital agency is a plus
