Job description: POSITION PURPOSEAs a Systems Facilitator/Trainer, you consider yourself a lifelong student. Whether in person or via Zoom/Teams sessions, you are a catalyst for change and look to capture both the mind and heart leveraging methodologies used by our teams to deliver content with optimism, confidence, and encouragement. You strive to ensure knowledge transfer is occurring with all learners.You’ll measure the effectiveness of our learning environments, content, and delivery methods by analyzing established metrics and gathering feedback from others. You will offer and participate in post-learning and skill-building events to support learning, comprehension, and successful implementation. You’ll follow-up to encourage an open line of communication with leaders and learners alike, allowing us to learn and grow together as a team. As everyone demonstrates their individual ability to use what they have been taught, you’ll see that what you’re doing makes a difference to others and our company to achieve success.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKSResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plans, and coordinates specific course content to support technical systems knowledge
  • Facilitate systems training sessions in person or via Zoom/ Teams to team members ranging from general systems knowledge to specific job functions
  • Manages the learning environment, and logistics: including session preparation, materials, learner communications (before and after), and event administrative closeout
  • Collaborates with the cross-functional project team to ensure content is developed and effective
  • Partners with the project team, and instructional design to build content, keep learning content relevant and up to date
  • Facilitates, engages, and interacts with learners to support their learning, knowledge transfer, and skill-building post-learning event
  • Gain and maintain the required level of knowledge related to the systems/content being taught
  • Establishes metrics to analyze the effectiveness of the training environment, content, and facilitation
  • Consults with department leadership and project team regarding areas to improve the effectiveness of training
  • Functions as a change agent supporting the adoption of the new system

QUALIFICATIONSExperience:

  • Proven facilitation skills experience with the ability to apply a variety of learning concepts and principles directed towards adult learning
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience as a Trainer/ Facilitator or similar role
  • Understanding of effective adult learning methodologies and tools

Technical:

  • Experience working with an LMS
  • At Least three years in a training/facilitator capacity or similar role
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint

Behavioral:

  • Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Lifelong Learner – curious to learn new techniques in facilitation
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Critical thinking and decision making

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Human resources, or relevant experience

PREFERENCES

  • Certification (e.g. CPLP) is a plus

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to travel as required (up to approximately 25%) for on-site training
  • Remote role – professional, work-from-home office environment for virtual meetings/trainings

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Largely sedentary role, with extended periods of computer usage
  • Ability to stoop, bend, or stand as necessary
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
