Ready to make a difference?In this integrated role, as the Senior Strategic Marketing Specialist, you’ll be part of the energy marketing team. The energy marketing team conducts all aspects of marketing to include advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. To implement marketing campaigns, the team works with a 150-person creative and media services group.In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional teams including business development, business support services, corporate communications, media, creative, and outreach to help shape and deliver our approach to implementing and growing our ABM energy work. Additionally, on an as needed basis, you will have responsibility for supporting the Account, Finance, Project Management and Creative teams across a variety of contracts in a business support function. Organization, budget management, and team communication skills are highly desired.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, this position will assist in the launch and management of key ABM contracts, ensuring all project teams, project management systems, processes, and financials are in place and functioning. Additionally, as needed, you will assist the Account team in the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks of developing, tracking, and implementing Marketing campaign budgets across specific accounts and contracts. Working closely with the Account team in planning, you will develop a working knowledge of projects and budgets while helping the Account team implement projects. What you will be doing:

  • Supporting large utility client accounts
  • Manage project deliverables and provide strategic ABM marketing project management to leading clients.
  • Assist in facilitating strategic brainstorm sessions, prepare reports, and deliver presentations.
  • Partner with key internal functional teams (including IT, Data Analytics, Creative, and Media) to create and execute ABM strategies, specifically in the digital space.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct market research and help inform the right strategies and deliver the right tactics.
  • Maintain and coordinate internal resources that empower and rally our teams around our strategies.
  • Track and report on our success through executive briefings, presentations, and other channels.
  • Assist the Account team in financial report aggregation and analysis.
  • Participating in monthly forecasting and accruals tasks.
  • Participate in budget planning and financial review meetings to track the overall health of the agency.
  • Communicating with account, creative, and media teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and proper time entry.
  • Assisting in the development of subcontracts with vendors and learn the internal processes for various types of contracts.
  • Developing new processes and tools to track bandwidth and resources, resulting in better work allocation across the project and teams.

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Administration, Business, Marketing, or related subject)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience working in marketing specifically within project management, pricing, budgeting, and tracking.

OR

  • 12+ years of relevant experience working in marketing specifically within project management, pricing, budgeting, and tracking.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture.
  • Experience in financial management and ability to effectively leverage and maximize a marketing budget.
  • Working knowledge of computer and online tools, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
  • History of positive client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel (minimal travel required for this position).
